Angel of vision |

Saint Aduachiel, the High Prince of vision, bears the symbol of the illuminating lightning bolt. He is known as the Witness of God. He stands here for the Light of the Holy Ghost in the Church and for the word of Our Lord which we hear today in the Gospel:
“Blessed are the eyes that see what you see! Many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see and did not see it.”
The word as a mere letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. This is why the holy apostle Paul says:
“If the ministry of death (which could not impart supernatural life by itself), engraved in stone with letters, was clothed with such glory that the sons of Israel could not look Moses in the eye for the splendour of his countenance, how much more must the ministry of the Spirit (in the Church) be full of glory!”
In the Secret Revelation this vision is shown, which the Spirit has poured out on the Church and which bears witness that there is sin, justice and judgement (John 16:8), eternal life, a reward for the good and punishment for the corrupt.
Lord, give us the eyes of the eagle for the darkness of this time, but also give us, your children, a heart full of faithful trust, so
“that we may run inexorably towards your promises.”
